What Did Students Do?
Lacrosse with Dan from Elev8!
This week, students had the opportunity to learn and work with Dan from Elev8 Lacrosse. Dan also plays for The Calgary Roughnecks! Students learned various lacrosse stick skills and passing skills. They played a relay game like Hungry Hungry Hippos. Students took shot on the net. They learned how to do outside and inside shots. They also played a competitive game where they could practice their skills further.

-the Rock Your Locks event
-BEDMAS - what it means, why we use it and to show you an example of this
-Frequency and Mode in Statistics - ask them to explain what these concepts are
-personification - what is it and why do authors use it? Ask your child to tell you and example of personification
